According to a media report, four young women between the age of twenty to twenty-five year old was removed, from a Monarch flight to alcoholic drinksIbiza.

Apparently, the attitude of these passengers was so disgusting that other people on board asked the flight attendant to be moved, this trigger a negative response from them, they started using a racist word and threatening people.

The Police were called, the four removed people needs to understand that unaccepted, childish and juvenile behaviour can never be tolerated especially on an airplane, we do not accept that on land, why would we want to permit this action in the air.

Three years ago air rage incidents involving violent disruptive and drink passenger rose to 31 percent of which 44 cases was considered severe and dangerous to put the safety of passengers and aircrew at risk.

In 2015 alcohol-fuelled air rage incidents were up by 40 percent,  There were 271 reported incidents.  In my opinion, this clearly shows that alcohol is playing a major part in the unacceptable behaviour of some passengers and society owes it to the people who just want to fly to their destination peaceful and safely, to stop passengers abusing alcohol if they are going to board a flight.

Of course, this will affect some passengers who can have alcohol and do not behave like something out of Noak’s ark, but the good, suffers for the bad and smoking was banned from all airplane, and it is now accepted, and there are millions of passengers flying every day that smokes.

We cannot let these drunken fuelled incidents continue, and wait for a passenger plane, to be, brought down before legislation is put in place to prevent this, it is time to be proactive rather than reactive, there are sufficient incidents to warrant legislation.

In the meantime, flight attendants should not let passengers on board who they believe have had too much alcohol to drink, and it people know they are not going to be able to board a plane if they are intoxicated they would think twice about consuming an excessive amount of alcohol.
