According to media report a knife-wielding person attack and killed 18 resident at a mental disability care home. The report also states that the dead were between the age of 18m to 70.

The perpetrator gave himself up at a police station and admit to the killings.  The attacker alleged to say he wants all disable people to disappear.  This incident is worst mass murder Japan seen since the end of world war two.

I cannot understand what is happening around the globe, why these people suddenly decide to commit mass murder?  What has gone wrong in society to make individuals want to harm so many innocent people?

From the killings that are happening around the world, they all seems to have one common denominator; the perpetrators want to kill as many people as possible.  Where do we go from here and how can countries protect their citizens from these unprovoked attacks that are leaving so many distraught families.

Within the last two months, many unsuspecting people have lost their lives, in the US 29-year-oldd security guard massacre 50 people in a Florida club.  Germany in the last few days has seen it fair share of mass killings and now Japan as join the ranks of countries where killing lots of people is becoming far too frequent.

In my opinion, these mass murders are leaving citizens all over the world concern as to whether their country will be next to be the target of individuals that are destined to cause chaos and mayhem in communities.

It is tough to understand the mentality of these people, what trigger their murderous behaviour, is it environmental, mental, economical, hatred, why do they feel the need to do these inhuman act.  Another reason for the community to be a concern is the age of the attacker; most are teenagers or in their early 20’s.

What can society do to combat these rampage of killings, I cannot believe that we have to accept that this is now becoming a regular part of very day life.
