The second amendment of the United States constitution reads: A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right 
of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
As yet again the US witness another nightclub shooting where one person has lost their life and according to the media another 14 was injured, how long before somebody says enough is enough and we have to do something to control our gun laws.
The United States has seen 372 mass shootings in the country in 2015, killing 475 and wounding 1,870. There was 142 school shooting in the US in 2013, the Orlando nightclub shooting leaves 50 dead and 53 wounded.  Blacksburg 32 dead and 17 injuries, Aurora 2012 12 dead 58 wounded and one could go on and on about the number of unnecessary death that occurred because individuals could easily get their hands on guns.
Personally, I do not believe that their founding fathers had contemplated that this kind of atrocities would happen given the terms of the amendment. But because they are a country that is governed by a constitution and one they take very seriously, the second amendment could be the downfall of the country unless someone is brave enough to say we have seen too many mass shooting in our country and if we have to change the constitution in order to protect our citizen then we will.
The founding father gave a guideline that was, in their time may have worked today we have too many monsters that are roaming our communities to allow these individuals the ability to be able to get their grubby hands on a weapon of mass destructions by saying the second amendment gives them the right to bear arms.
