According to a media report, the government will be establishing a 2.4 million pound new funds for security measures to protect Mosques, Christian religion, wine, bread and the word of GodChurches, Synagogues, in the wake of increase racially motivate crimes following Brexit.

People who perpetrate racial crime are in my opinion dumb, stupid and unintelligent.  Why would I make a comment like that, you ask, because if there were not then, they would realise that their behaviour only cost taxpayers.

In a civilised society, there should be no need for any government to be finding extra funding to protect sections of our communities from bigots.

However, government do have a duty to ensure that all its citizens are afforded the right to be who they are regardless of creed, colour, religion, or sexual orientation, but that funding that they are going to allocate to protect individual organisations could have been spent elsewhere, for example, the NHS.

If racist and individual that commit racial crimes where to stop and think about their actions they would realise that in a democracy people have a right to be whatever they are even racist.  But what you do not have the right to do is to hurt physically, verbally abuse anyone or groups within our communities because they are different.

Apart from the extra funding that the government will be making available, Prosecutors will be issued with new guidelines on religious and racially offences and encourage to press for tougher with sentences.
