The unfairness of the world that you live in makes it easy for you to nurture a bitter heart. You cannot understand why this world should be so unfair, and it appears that it is those that are already destitute that is suffering.
It is so easy for you to have a bitter heart if you have been betrayed by those you loved, cheated on, lied about, and malice and hatred threatened the core of your existence.
Stop and think for a minute if you allow yourself to nurture a bitter heart, then you have opened up your life to the influence of the Devil. Everything that you believe is wrong with what is going on in your life Satan will increase it ten-fold so that your bitterness can get dangerous and you could do something negative that will change your life forever.
You must let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour and slander be, put away from you, also all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. [Ephesians 4:31],
You need to recognise the signs of a bitter heart so that you can change your attitude. An angry person tends to generalise, hold grudges, like the sound of their voice., they’re jealous, they seek attention, struggle to accept advice, they resent cheerful people. But they make no changes to improve their life.
The Bible, the final word of God, gives us the following warnings listed below.
Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fails of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many are, defiled.
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
PRAYER
Eternal Father and Lord of all that is true and righteous, I bow my head in prayer to you on this glorious day. Father, I thank you for your grace and ask that you remove any bitterness or evil thoughts from within me. Take away the Devil negative influence from among your people and give us the protection that we need to repel Satan and his minions in Jesus name I pray Amen.
