My lesson today is about Miracles, and the fact that not all miracles come from God. The Bible verses below are warnings from God about the false prophets that will perform miraculous feats but they are the adversary, they have no part with God.

Jeremiah 23:16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Acts 20:28-30 20 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.

1 John 4:1 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Matthew 7:15 Beware* of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

2 Peter 1:2 1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

Lord I pray today that you will open the eyes of your children so they can see that the Devil is running rampant in our world and lives.  Father, give us the strength and courage to block the Devil onslaught on your people, in Jesus name.  Amen
