There is no doubt that God knew that the Devil was going to try and viciously destroy his children and creation. Therefore, having anticipated what the adversary was going to do he gave us these divine bible verses, below, so we can repel the Devil.

1 Peter 5:8-9 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because of your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are, accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.1 John 4:4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 3 It is true, we live in a body of flesh. But we do not fight like people of the world. 4 We do not use those things to struggle with that the world uses. We use the words God gives to fight with, and they have power. Those things God gives to fight with destroy the strong-places of the devil. 5 We break down every thought and the proud thing that puts itself up against the wisdom of God. We take hold of every idea and make it obey Christ.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is, formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Ephesians 6:11-13 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against, principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mighty God, give us the strength to effectively use these words that you left for us against the adversary and his band of evil followers. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen
