Developing patience during the Coronavirus lockdown can be daunting. Humans find it very difficult to stay in isolation for an extended period. Therefore we must begin to and understand how to exercise patience without it taking a counterproductive toll on your mental health.

For us to develop the patience that is necessary to overcome this crisis, we have to believe in the living God and know that our protections comes from Him. Use the Bible to strengthen our faith and patience.

The book of James 1:3-4 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be complete and, wanting nothing.

Accepting hardship as a means of growth is a radical concept in our world. Even more extreme is the believer who praises the Lord through troubled times. But as followers of God, we have cause to rejoice. Tribulations increase our patience so that we can stand firm on His promises and await His great timing.

What the Bible tells us about patience Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Romans 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. We are, told here that we need to exercise patience and do not be weary because, in due course, we will receive the benefit from being patient.

COVID 19 is the evil, unseen enemy that is causing dramatic changes in our lives. We will overcome as said in Psalm 37:7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.
