Do You Wonder Where Your Soul Go When You Die

I imagine that the vast majority of us ask that question at some time in our lives.

A human being needs to have the answer to every question there is, and we tend to debunk anything that we cannot feel or touch. Christians, on the other hand, believe and have faith in what they know to be the truth, God is real.

We are both soul and body. It is crucial to admit that the word ‘soul’ is not a disembodied entity. The Bible teaches us that ‘soul’ is who you are. When we read in the book of Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. Therefore, in the biblical view, Adam does not have a soul; Adam is a soul (i.e., a person, a living being). The soul is that which breaths, the breathing substance or being.

So, if God breathes life into us, it stands to reason that when we die, the soul goes back to God, where it will stay until the day of Judgement. Whether your soul is right with God or not, every soul goes back to him to await their faith on that judgement day.

Many Bible verses talk about our soul in Psalm 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which can destroy both soul and body in hell.
We must be mindful of Mathew 10 verse 28, and we do not have to worry about those who can kill our body but worry about who can destroy both the body and the soul, that is what we should ensure our soul is alright with God.

Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. We have to have a transformation of our soul. Indeed, we are to be born again, the soul undergoing a supernatural transition, making it “fit” for heaven. Our souls are “lost” without redemption. We need to remember that Jesus died so we could be redeemed; therefore, for our souls to be fit for the kingdom of heaven, we must be reborn in Jesus name and follow in his footsteps.

Our souls can only be, saved if it is, cleansed from sin. We must walk in the righteous path of God and then and only then will our soul be alright with him. To meet God and be ready for when he puts back a body to our souls, and we will live forever, there will no longer be any death or destruction, and the world will be peaceful as God always intended it to be.
