Too many Christians take the view that because we are under the protection of God that evil cannot raise its ugly head against us at times.
Evil truly exists, and it is in the form of the greatest evil that the world as ever seen, and His name is Satan. The only way that the Devil can control sections of the world and its people is through the evil that he is. He looks for weak-minded individuals and slowly but steadily infiltrate their life planting his evil thoughts.
To truly understand the system of evil, we have to turn to the word of God. The Bible to recognise how and, what he tells us about this great evil that is attacking our world.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! God warns us what we can not do about evil or good.
Proverbs 8:13 To fear the Lord is to hate evil, pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
So even thou you know the dangers of evil the book of Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
God told us in the book of Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Psalm 5:4 For thou art, not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.
Psalm 97:10 Ye that loves the Lord hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Many Biblical verses warn against evil, so we need to arm ourselves with the blood of Jesus Christ so that when evil rears its head against us, we are prepared and ready to defeat the demonic evil that the Devil is trying to put on you.
