God’s punishment for those who oppresses the poor

Mighty God today you have shown me how you deal with those who oppress the poor and needy. Lord, they have closed their ear to your instructions and are doing so at their peril.

Lord, I pray that you will soften their hearts, an increased bounty for your children that are in dire need. Father, you will continue to help us out of all of our financial poverty and as we harken to the words of the bible and its teaching, help us to put into actions plans to help each other to beat the adversary at his own game.

The book of Proverbs 22:22-23 22 Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: 23 For the Lord will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that ruined them.

Proverbs 31:8-9 8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. 9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Proverbs 3:27-28 27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. 28 Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. Proverbs 14:21 He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.

Proverbs 22:9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor. Psalm 9:17-18 17 The wicked shall be, turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. 18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.

Psalm 72:3-4 3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. 4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
