Heed The Bible Warning Us About Evil Government. Because we are fighting the effects of the coronavirus, the world is in an uproar, freedom of movements curtailed and all the other various restriction on our daily lives we are missing out on the Biblical warning of the evil government.

We see and hear the lies and misinformation from the former President of the United States of America, which incite hundreds of people into a dangerous rebellion and almost overturn democracy. But if we know the Bible’s teachings, we would not be surprised at these things, so let us see what the Bible tells us about the evil government.

Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. So if we have a government that spread truth and righteousness, then the people rejoice but lying misleading government cause the people to mourn.

Isaiah 10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees and that write grievousness which they have prescribed. Wicked and evil governments need to understand that there is a price to pay for their deed, and they cannot escape their suppression of God’s people.

Isaiah 1:23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. The Bible is warning us that these government figures only care about themselves and like to receive rewards; therefore, they have no compassion for most people.

Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Evil governments need to heed this warning; they will be made to account for their wicked ways.

Romans 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same. If you are a good ruler, then there is no terror to the people only if you are evil then the people are in peril.

We need to harken to the word of God so that we can live in this cruel world where the vast majority of government are evil. They use lies and innuendos, racism, and misinformation to divide the world and conquer. Let us stay alert and know when we are misled in knowing that God will eventually deal with the wicked.
