In a democratic society individuals or groups should have the right to peaceful demonstrations and protest when they believe that the cause is justified.

However, this is not about demonstrations or trampling on the rights of any group or organization. It is about any groups or persons undertaking activities that cause tension in a community because of hatred or bigotry.

The media report stating that a High Court ruling has banned Britain first Campaigners from entering all Mosques in England and Wales for three years, or encouraging other to go into these premises without invitation is a step in the right direction.  It also barred the group from entering parts of Luton following an injunction obtained by Bedfordshire Police.  

According to the report, the order prohibits the organization from publishing, distributing, displaying any images or films within the exclusion zones. 

It is incredible that any police service could take this action against individuals, but I can agree with them that the area is a diverse community, and no one should be allowed to incite or caused tensions within the area.

Far right groups need to understand that we live in a multi-culture society and targeting sections of the community because of their ethnicity, or religious belief will no longer be acceptable.
