Lord How Much More Pain,Woe and Disaster

Today, the vast majority of people, including Christians, are asking this question, Lord how much more pain and disaster can your children tolerate and bear.

We look around the world, and we see disasters, pain, anger frustration, hunger, homelessness, unemployment and many more issues that we cannot understand why they are happening. Some are mocking our faith and religion, asking us where this God that you people serve is? How come he leave you all to fight these disastrous events?

Let us not bow our head in shame, turn to the Bible for the answer so that you can counter the negativity that is, aimed at you and your firm belief in the living God. The pain and suffering that we are experiencing are because we have turned away from God, lose our trust, and we do not anchor ourselves to the Almighty.

For whatever reasons, God choose to make people as they are—limited and suffering and subject to sorrows and death—he had the honesty and courage to take his own medicine. Whatever game he is playing with his creations, he has kept his own rules and played fair. God exact nothing from us that he has not exacted from himself. He has gone through the whole human experience, from the trivial irritations of family life and the cramping restrictions of hard work and lack of money to the worst horrors of pain, humiliation, defeat, despair, and death. When he was a man, he played the man. He was born in poverty and died in disgrace and thought it all worthwhile.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world, you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Romans 5:3-4 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
