According to various media reports, 22 people dead and 59 injuries at a Manchester Arena concert where US singer Ariana Grande was appearing.  It was suggested that the blast took place around 22:35 BST in the foyer of the arena.

Unbelievable and downright appalling to think that attending a concert now comes with a hazard warning that you can be blown to smithereens by individuals that have no respect for the sanctity of human lives. Apparently, the so-called lone suicide bomber died in the blast.

There is a small section of inhabitants on this planet that have gone completely insane to believe they have the right to take out whatever grievances they may be harbouring on innocent civilians. They have the right to take their own lives but they certainly do not have they right to take other people’s life along with theirs.

Today 22 people lies dead and their only crime was attending a concert where they believe they would not only enjoy themselves but that their safety was guaranteed,  but they learnt in the harshest of way that we no longer have guaranteed safety and every time we attend any event or simply walking on a bridge there are people willing to take away our life for idiotic ideologies.

How can we console 22 grieving families, how can we begin to ease the pain of the loss of loved ones, there is no justification for these losses. These individuals drop off their loved ones at a concert, for crying out loud and hours later 22 are dead for what reason.

We understand that terrorism is happening around the world because we read about it every day, but it really comes home to one when it happen in your country and you realise that the German people or the French people have to cope with is now occurring in the UK.  The UK have seen a number of terror activities and we have coped in the face of these adversities and no doubt the city of Manchester will bind together and cope, but the scars will always remain.
