Redemption What Does It Mean And What Does The Bible Say? All of humanity is given deliverance through Jesus Christ. His crucifixion grants us the ability to be saved from any sin that we commit.

To fully understand the importance of redemption, we need to look at the Biblical scripture that tells us how vital Christ crucifixion was to humanity.

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. Important to know that through Jesus Christ blood, we have forgiveness of our sins.

The crucifixion must be vital to us as stated here in the book of Galatians 2:20 I, am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. God knew that we were worth saving even though we are, as the scripture say, ‘strange people.

Colossians 1:20-22 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.

Psalm 111:9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant forever: holy and reverend is his name. Despite what we have become, God still sends up redemption through his son Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Romans 3:24-26 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of past sins, through the forbearance of God;

To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that through death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

So we can see the importance of redemption and the promise that we are given. Because of redemption, we are promised eternal life if we follow the instructions that we are blessed because of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
