The world is facing an unprecedented crisis, and all the governments around the world are blaming this on COVID19.

However, there may be something else that we are overlooking, could we be having all of these problems because we continue the sinful, hateful, greedy and corrupt ways in which we have become.

Despite many warnings from God as to how the people of Sodom and Gomorrah were living, abusing the will of God, corrupting God’s creation, they did not listen, and he destroyed them. We are on the same path because of our disobedience.

2 Timothy 3:1-7 know, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead silly captive women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

James 1:14-15 But every man is tempted, when he is, drawn away of his lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is, finished, bringeth forth death.

Failing to recognise that we are living in a world of disobedience to God’s way in one of the reasons that we are in a disastrous world will a major pandemic wreaking havoc upon the world’s inhabitants.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

We are not humbling ourselves, not following the teaching of our creator. We flaunt every rule that God gave us and embrace the ways of the Devil. We have allowed greed, corruption, vanity and waywardness to control our lives. We elect corrupt governments that only think about how much money they can make. We are blinded by our greed and reject God and how he taught us to live with each other.

Romans 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience, many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Amen
