The word of God is powerful in every way that you choose to use them. And, when Jesus shed his blood for humanity, it gave us power over the Devil and his demonic forces.

God threw the Devil and his band of evil-doers out of His kingdom. He scattered them to the four corners of the Earth. The only purpose that Satan and his minions as is to destroy God creation by corrupting the mind of humanity.

Don’t be a fool into believing that Satan does not know or understand that the word of God is powerful. The reason that he is trying so hard to distort and destroy the word of God is that he knows that if we steadfastly cling to the Creator words and instructions, he is defeated.

Let us look at the Biblical scriptures that reinforce the power that the words of God are. Scriptures listed below taken from the King James Version.

1 Peter 1:25 –  But the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is, preached unto you.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 –  For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

2 Peter 3:16 –  As even in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they also do the other scriptures, unto their destruction. Here God is telling you that those who do not understand the power of his words will twist them as they do with other Biblical instruction.

2 Timothy 2:15 –  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Colossians 3:16 – Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Ephesians 6:17 –  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Hebrews 4:12 –  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Mighty God, give me the strength and courage to feast upon your words. Eternal Father, help me to remain steadfast in your glory to honour and respect your teachings and if I fall, be there to lift me again, in Jesus name Amen.
