US District Judge blocked Trump’s controversial travel ban

I could be wrong, and if I am, many people will put me straight. I cannot imagine any other US President that has so much negative media attention, because of his juvenile actions.

A media report states that a Federal Judge has blocked the Trump administration from implementing their controversial travel ban. The ban which was scheduled to go into effect October 18, would see travellers from Lybia, Chad, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, North Korea and Venezuela entering the United States.

There is no doubt that the ban discriminates based purely on nationality. I do not understand why the White House has an advisor to the President. Someone needs to sit this man down and explain to him how the world, in particular, the US should operate in a civilised society.

An intellectual person recognises that you cannot prevent an individual from travelling because of fear. There are Iranians, Syrians, Libyans, Somalians and North Korean already living and working legitimately in the US; these are human beings with relatives in America.

Quite frankly, he needs his head examined. Of course, the President must protect the American people, but how you go about it determine the type of person. In my opinion, the US President is the most significant threat to democracy, and I think the Americans and most of Europe are beginning to recognise that fact.
