When you are heartbroken, we have a predictable way that drives us to search for reassurance in the most unlikely of places. When pain is fresh, we look for hope more urgently, regardless of your situation or your relationship with a loving God.

Heartbreak comes from the loss of loved ones, betrayal by a spouse, friends and families. These are the times that we need to be, reminded that God’s thoughts towards us are kind, and His words to us are comforting and full of redemption.

So, let us look at the Bible verses that we can use to strengthen and basked in the glory of God. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because of fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. God is telling us here that even if we are going to be disappointed and heartbroken, we must not fear to love.

When you are, betrayed and broken-hearted or lose someone you love remember that He promises in Psalm 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. A promise that He will never go back on, open up your heart to Him and watch how He heals you.

You need to understand that your pain is, not hidden from God; instead, He offers us relief and healing, if we show Him our brokenness and invite Him into the pain. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

God will look at us, even in our messiest, most broken state, He doesn’t see us covered in shame. Instead, He is a loving God who asks to sit with and comfort us while we heal. Psalm 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Society doesn’t value vulnerability, but God tells us that His love for us shines brightly in the darkness of our struggle. Our inability to deal with a situation gives Him a chance to step in and show us that His strength will lift the weight of disappointment, every single time.

Cast your broken heart upon the Almighty God, and he will gladly fix, mend and repair your heart to the perfect way he made it in the first place, in the name of Jesus Amen.
