Using God’s Words To Improve Our Lives And Standard Of Living.

Today we are going to talk about the many ways in which we can use the words of God to improve not just our lives but the standards in which we live.

One of the first thing that we must know is that the standards in which we live our Christian lives are through the Bible which is undoubtedly the word of God. All Christians should agree that the Bible is the standard of truth for us all. So, no matter what the Adversary throws at us we can always find the truth in the verses of the word of God, the Bible.

The Bible says in Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. So, to begin to improve our lives, we must first cleanse our bodies of impurities and the things that are not of God.

Verse 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and the perfect, will of God. We have to leave greed, envy, lust, doubt and all the evil acts of the world renewing our minds with the grace of God. We cannot forget that in the book of Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Once we accept God as our Lord and Saviour, our standard of living improve beyond our wildest dreams because we are no longer dependent on ourselves, but through prayers, we leave all our worries, trials and tribulations in the hands of the Almighty God.

When it comes to God keeping His promise to take care of your needs God always does as he tells us here in 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to His glory.

In today’s, world there is no enduring standard. Every man does what is right in his own eyes. Our society has abandoned the one rule of truth, which is the Bible, forgetting that the Word of God is the final authority on all things. The world’s standards are doomed to failure because they ignore, white-washed, dilute the rules that God expects us to follow.

Much of the confusion in the world today comes from one thing, man believes they can change the word and teachings of the Bible, in effect the word of God. Assuming that a modern world requires them to disregard the standard that God sets for us so they can appear to be politically correct, this also includes the Churches.

Your life will improve as long as you abide within the word of God and live in the standards he sets out for us then we will fulfil our obligations to our Lord and master and not the Devil’s environment.
