Following the reported sex scandal regarding MP Keith Vaz, a media report states he has quit as the Chairman of the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee. Apparently, this is one of the Commons most influential committee.

A very unfortunate affair and the people who are suffering his fall from grace is his family, especially his wife who have to read reports that her husband paid a male prostitute for to have the sex.

I cannot understand what is wrong with this individual, why do they feel the need not just to destroy their careers but to bring down the people around them.

Keith Vaz, was elected to parliament in 1987, and all of the good work that he has done for his constituency and the country will be obscured, and he will be remembered for the MP that paid a male prostitute for sex, disgraceful.

I have said it a million times when you elect to put yourself in the public domain; you have to be above suspicions your dignity and integrity must be unquestionable.  There are always going to be individuals that want to take you down and the way in which you live your life will determine whether they can succeed.

Apparently, Keith Vaz strays away from these criteria and his now paying a price that there is no coming back from that.  Having to apologise for his behaviour publicly and will most likely be investigated by the Commons Sleaze watchdog, how the mighty has fallen.
