What Does The Bible Say About Angels Protecting Humans? Most humans believe that Angels are above humans, which is a mistake. Angels are messengers from God, and they are around us to help humanity in every way that the Living God choose them to do for His earthly children.

To understand the extent to which Angels protect us, we have to turn to various chapters in the Bible to help identify why Angels are around us and the work they perform. Angels are mentioned 108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament.

Psalm 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. He means God shall give his angels charge over us to keep humanity in all forms. Note that the word Shall is absolute; therefore, there are no ifs or buts as to what the Angels are in charge of doing.

Hebrews 1:14 Are they, not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for some have entertained angels unawares. People are brainwashed into believing that Angels are winged entities and that should they appear to humans, they will have wings on their backs. Those are a creation from the movies. In your everyday life, you could meet an Angel and not know it because they will have a human form.

Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalm 103:20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, who excel in strength and do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Jude1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Isaiah 6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain, he covered his face, and with twain, he covered his feet, and with twain, he did fly.

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Matthew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Matthew 24:31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Exodus 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way and bring thee into the place I have prepared.

Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Mark 8:38 Whosoever, therefore, shall be ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

We can see from the Biblical verses the number of tasks that Angels provide to God’s Earthly children; therefore, we should not be afraid about anything because God provided help for all of his children.
