When You Pray To God Do You Think He Answer

When you pray to God, do you think he answers? Thousand of people ask that question every day, and the reason is they are not in tune with how God answer our prayers because of a failure not just to listen but to understand.

Why do we pray
We pray because we believe that God will hear us and he will answer and fulfil the request that we ask for regardless of whether it is for a new home, better finances, to cleanse our soul, for other people for health and the numerous things that we call upon God through our prayers to assist us with.

There are times when we believe that God does not hear us and that he is not answering our prayers, but that is far from the truth. God answer every prayer; we may not like the answers that he gave us. We need to remember that we only have a small picture frame, but God holds the entire frame. Therefore, he knows that should he answer some of our prayers, they may be detrimental to our lives, so he deferred from giving us what we assume we really need.

What does the Bible say about prayers?
Philippians 4:6 Be careful of nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. We should be careful of nothing but let our request be known to him. However, he will determine whether our request merit what we need or what we want.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. I am sure that many of us asked for things in prayer, and we feel that we did not receive our request once again; whatever we ask of God, he will only give it to us if we are in need and will not cause us any problems.

Romans 8:26 Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Matthew 6:6-7 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Pray for what you need, and do not be repetitious God heard you in the first instant.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. This the reason why we are so disappointed when we pray to God, and we think he does not answer us gives us what we want.

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all saints’ perseverance and supplication.

Prayer
Mighty God, I realise that what we pray to you for we will not always get, and I also know that you are the one true God and we are your children, and you care for us so much that you will not seek to hurt are harm us. Everlasting Father, grant us your time, hear and answer our prayers, Lord, especially those prayers to get rid of the Coronavirus. We need you more than ever, and I pray for all those that are suffering today. I place them in your mighty hands. Amen
