Why Anarchy Should Not Be A Surprise

The last few days, we saw the biggest democracy in the world fall into anarchy. Some ask why we are in this kind of conflict and where God is in all of this.

We are missing great teaching because we are not using the Bible’s words to understand that what we see happening in the world are already predicted in the Bible. So let’s look at what the bible teaches us about anarchy.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

2 Peter 2:19-22 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the world’s pollutions through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, and The dog has turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

2 Timothy 3:1-3 This also know that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables.

There must be no misunderstanding about why we live in anarchy because we do not want to hear the truth; we are more inclined to listen to lies and innuendoes. But if we trust the Bible’s words, we will never be amazed at what is happening globally.
