Why Trusting God is Much More Than Just Faith In The Unknown We Must Not Compromise Our Trust in God.
This world is in such a state that people are becoming disillusioned with everything and everyone. There is hunger, starvation, homelessness, chaos and confusion among us all.
So why would we trust God completely and totally in everyday life? The answer to this question will be found in the Bible, the unmistakable word of our creator. God knew from creation that our faith in him would be tested beyond human possibilities, so he put a book in place to help and guide us into the trust we need.
So let us look at what the Bible says about trust and faith in God.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. You do not need to doubt the living God because here in this scripture he told us about what we should expect from faith.
Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. These scriptures from the Book of God gave us the understanding that we need to continue our journey in trust and faith in our Creator.
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Psalm 91:1-6 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
We now have all the tools we need to trust and have faith in God without question or doubt and if you do then your rewards will be great and there will be no need to need anything in your life because it will all be taken care of. In the Holy name of the most High Amen
