Why we can present daily prayer requests to God seeking his help

He came, saw, conquered, and he died for our sins. Jesus died so that we have the chance not only to be redeemed but so we can make a request to God.

People it is a myth perpetrated by the adversary that we cannot ask God for help and, that God does not answer our request.

The New International Version of the Bible, in Philippians 4 verse 6 – 7 Do not be anxious but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your request to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your heart and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The same passage in the King James Version of the Bible Philippians 4:6-7 6 Be careful for, nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

So people as you can see the New International Version of the Bible just put the language more simplistically, but the message is the same. Jesus dies for us so that we can say prayers directly to God and have them answer. However, the scripture also reminds us that we should do so with thanksgiving. So let us pray.

Eternal Father and our God we thank you for the gift of life and giving us a chance to raise our voice to praise you in these times of turmoil. Father, we appreciate you for our families, the protection that you have enclosed them in. Lord Jesus hear our voices and come to our aid in every aspect of our lives today.

Jesus, I pray for the sick, hungry, homeless, naked, destitute, impoverish, children, friends and families who are experience the burden of the world. Lord lift, up your children, hear and answer all our cries today and always, in your precious name, Amen.
