Because we are made in God’s image even if we are distorted or broken we are still redeemable and worth redeeming, that is why God sent Jesus to die on our behalf.
The scripture Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he, them. 1 Corinthians 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also take the image of the heavenly.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Here in 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Psalm 8:3-4 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is a man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Mighty God, we give you praise for creating us in your image. You have given us the tools we need to understand that we have no fears, problems, worries because we are in your image and glory, and all we need shall be ours with faith and trust. Amen
