Devotional Journal Guide To Restore Faith, Brokenness, and Loss.

Day 1: Come As You Are
Scripture: Psalm 34:18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. God doesn’t wait for you to fix yourself. He draws close when you’re hurting. Come to Him just as you are broken, burdened, and unsure and trust that He meets you there.

Note in your Journal.
In what areas of your life do you feel broken or overwhelmed? Then write a prayer inviting God into that pain.

Day 2: Speak God’s Truth Over Your Feelings.
Scripture: Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Feelings fluctuate, but God’s Word is a steady guide. When everything feels uncertain, Scripture reminds you of eternal truths. Let the light of His Word lead you.

Note in your Journal what lies or discouraging thoughts you have been believing? What does God’s Word say instead? Write a verse that speaks truth to your situation.

Day 3: Take Small Steps of Faith
Scripture: Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Reflection. You don’t need perfect faith, just a willing heart. God honours your smallest steps toward Him. He sees your effort and will walk with you.

Note in your Journal What small step you can take today to reconnect with God? (e.g., pray, read a verse, call a friend) How do you think God feels about your desire to return to Him?

Day 4: Remember God’s Faithfulness
Scripture: Psalm 103:2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. God has not failed you. Even if this moment feels dark, look back and remember when He came through. Let His past faithfulness build hope for the future.

Write in your Journal three times God showed up in your life. What did those moments teach you about who He is?

Day 5: Wait with Hope
Scripture: Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Waiting is not wasted time. God is working, even when you can’t see it. In the waiting, He strengthens, shapes, and renews you.

Note in your Journal: What are you waiting on, God for? Write a prayer asking for renewed strength while you wait. Also, take a moment to write a personal prayer to God about your pain, your hope, and your desire to trust Him again. End this guide by committing your journey to Him, knowing He walks every step with you.
