A Prayer To God For Divine Protection From All Adversary

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts filled with gratitude and reverence, seeking Your divine protection and shelter. As we meditate on the words of Psalm 91:9-13, Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. we find solace and strength in Your unwavering promises. Your Word says:

Oh, Lord, we declare that You are our dwelling place, our refuge, and our fortress. In You, we find safety and peace amidst the storms of life. We take comfort in knowing that no evil can overpower us when we abide in your presence.

Father, we humbly ask for Your divine protection to surround us and our loved ones. Shield us from harm, both seen and unseen. Guard our homes, our families, and our communities from every form of danger and disease. Let no plague or sickness come near our dwellings, for You are our ultimate source of healing and restoration.

We trust in Your promise to command Your angels to watch over us, guiding and protecting us in all our ways. Uphold us with Your mighty hands, that we may not stumble or fall. Strengthen our faith and grant us discernment to recognize the snares and traps set by the enemy.

Lord, You have given us authority over the forces of darkness. Grant us the courage and wisdom to tread upon the lion and the adder, symbolizing the enemy’s schemes and deceptions. Empower us to trample underfoot the young lion and the serpent, overcoming every spiritual attack and temptation that comes our way.

In times of uncertainty, fear, and adversity, may we find our refuge in You. Help us to rest in Your promises, knowing that You are always with us, guiding, protecting, and providing for us. We place our trust in Your unfailing love, knowing that You are faithful to fulfil every word spoken in Your Scriptures.

Mighty God we live in a world where hurt seems inevitable, whether physical, emotional, mental, or even spiritual. I know not everyone has my best interest at heart and that You speak of man’s greatest enemy, constantly seeking to destroy us.  Father, I pray for Your gracious hand of protection in every part of my life when I leave home, in the relationships that I enter, and in my day-to-day life. Would You keep me and those I love safely in Your hand and give me discernment in situations that I should remove myself from and the courage to do so? In Jesus’ name, I pray.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
