Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. There is no if or maybe in this bible verse from the book of Mathew. God is telling us that he knew that there were going to be false prophets whose only task is to deceive the children of God.
We are living in a world that the Devil is given some control over and as children of God we must be aware of the reasons that Satan is ruling and how we can identify not just him but those that are undertaking his work. And in 2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
In all of our trials and tribulations, there is one constant, and he is God. No matter what these false prophets that are coming to us in sheep’s clothing pretending to be God will allow us to identify and cast them down. Here in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also are transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
The Bible is the word of God, and he has given us every weapon that we need to fight the Devil and his band of evildoers. We need to be able to identify, cast down and rebuke the proponents of the Devil and through our prayer communication with God, we shall defeat Satan.
