You know that Jesus died for your sins. He paid the ultimate price to set you free.
The Devil this supernatural being as created so many pitfalls and chaos on Earth that make it virtually impossible for most of us to find the time to appreciate what Jesus did for us. It is not a mistake by Satan; it is a well-orchestrated plan he needs to distract and blind us from the truth.
When you think of the price that the Son of God paid for your sin, you understand the reason that the Devil is doing everything he can to keep us distracted. Satan does so using financial difficulties, jealousy, greed, envy, hatred, homelessness and vanity. It keeps you so busy that you forget the sacrifice that Jesus made for you.
But, remember that Satan is not the opposite of God, though he would like people to think so. God is all-powerful, everywhere present, and all-knowing. Satan is none of these. He does not have unlimited power, he cannot be everywhere at once, and he does not know everything. He is a created, limited being. He depends upon God for his existence.
Satan is easily defeated when you focus on God to solve all your Earthly problems. Then He as no loophole in which to enter your life and cause doubt to creep into your thoughts.
The Bible warns you about Satan capabilities – He tempts with evil, Inspires wicked thoughts, consistently opposes anyone who is in God’s service. Intimidate the children of God, divert the truth and seduce believers to sin.
God gave you power over the Devil as said in the book of 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and of a sound mind.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Mighty God, I know that Jesus died for my sins; I shall not allow the Devil to take away the joys of know my redeemer lives. I thank you for the strength that you have given me to rebuke Satan. I know that you are standing by my side, and the adversary is unable to touch or influence me in the precious name of Jesus Amen.
