When you are in a relationship with another human being, there is every guarantee that betrayal, lies and deceit will occur.
The relationship that you have with God is always honest and genuine. You cannot lie, hide your sins, or who you are. Therefore, there is no need for betrayal.
Betrayal is an intricate part of humanity, and we use deception in so many ways, and we must know what the Bible says about this human emotion. The instructions that God gave us about betrayal and how we deal with it.
You must remember that betrayal start from the beginning of time. The greatest betrayal was, undertaken as stated in the book of Luke 22:48 –Â But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of God with a kiss?
Matthew 24:10 –Â And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. These are the prophecy of betrayal that was, documented over two thousand years ago.
Matthew 7:12 –Â Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. God is saying to us here that we should do unto others as we would want them to do to you. If you do not wish to be, betrayed, then why would you do it to another person?
Psalm 41:9 –Â Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted his heel against me. Here in the book of Psalm, we are, reminded that betrayal could come from even those who eat and drink with you and pretend to be your friend.
Prayer
Mighty God, I turn to you today in my state of betrayal and, ask that you remove the obstacles that cause my betrayal from among me. I pray that you will help the betrayer to overcome their sinful ways. Remove the influence of the Devil from among your people and give us the courage to defeat betrayal in all form that it may appear. In Jesus name Amen.
