Because we are living in a world that is so chaotic, miserable, unfair, unjust and full of evildoers, we forgot that there are things we can do to receive God’s favour and grace.
Let us turn to the book of Psalms to find an answer to our problems starting with STRENGTH. Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am, helped: therefore, my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 105:4 Seek the Lord, and his power: seek his face evermore.
Psalm 118:13-14 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and song and is, become my salvation.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
HEALTH: Psalm 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Psalm 30:2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
Psalm 107:19-20 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.
Psalm 25:17-18 The troubles of my heart are, enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. Look upon mine affliction and my pain, and forgive all my sins.
HELP: Psalm 86:1 Bow down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy. Psalm 10:17-18 Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou will prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear: To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
Psalm 113:7-8 He raises the poor out of the dust, lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
Psalm 121:1-3, I will lift my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be, moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
