The Importance Of The Love Of Our Lord Jesus Christ

My Opinion

How many more Teachers and Students must die

Unbelievable, that yet another ten innocent people lost their lives and, ten more suffered injuries following another school shooting. How many more students and teachers must die before the United States idiotic government do something […]

As children of God, we need to understand the importance of the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. The reason that he was so willing to die for us is so we can have redemption. Without His suffering and ultimate death on the cross, we would never be able to be redeemed when we sin.

Let us therefore look at the Biblical scripture that teaches us about the look of Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another.”

John 15:9 “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.”

Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 8:35-39 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? … For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Ephesians 3:17-19 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.”

Revelation 1:5 “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,”

Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

These scriptures reflect the depth and magnitude of Jesus’ love for humanity. They offer reassurance and hope to believers and emphasise the importance of love in Christian teachings.
