Your fellowship with God is sacrosanct; it is what define who and what you are and the ability to be a decent, well adjusted human being.
Your relationship with God determines how you operate in the world the people around you and most importantly, the empathy you have with others.
Lastly, but most importantly is your discipleship, it is the purpose of ensuring your commitment to fulfilling God’s mission for your life.
Having recognised these commitments to God, the enemy(Satan) works to attack these areas of your life by planting little seeds of doubt, often in the form of questions. In other words, he infiltrates your mindset, your thinking. He did it with Eve in the garden of Eden.
The way Satan operated then is still how he works now. These planted seeds attack one or all three areas in your life. If we are not careful, these little seeds can take root, and we can begin to breathe life into them. They can latch on to your thinking and cripple you, leading you to an unproductive life. The best way to defend yourself is to recognise what some of them are.
Satan understands the power of feeling condemnation. He knows if he can get you thinking these types of thoughts, you will question God’s ability or willingness to forgive you, which will have a devastating effect on your walk with God. You won’t pray. You won’t worship. You won’t open your Bible because in your mind you stand condemned.
So for you to defeat the Devil in all things, the Bible is precise, where you shall turn if and when you have a feeling of unworthiness. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Know this and be confident today that God is not only able to forgive he is willing to forgive. When he forgives you, he wipes the slate clean, and he doesn’t remember your sins anymore. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so now hath he removed our transgressions from us. Let the Devil know that no matter how hard he tries to shift you from worshipping and trusting in God’s grace, you are, anchored to the Lord in every way.
Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
