It amazes me that people are so surprised with the various virus, diseases and other plagues that are currently going on in the world.

To understand why these things are happening, we need to turn to the Bible, the final word of God to know that because we are in the last days, Biblical prophecies are being, fulfilled.

The Scripture, as listed below, give an understanding of the virus and other plagues that are in our world.

Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Ezekiel 5:17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee, and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the Lord have spoken it.

1 Kings 8:37 If there be in the land famine if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpillar; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which, the heavens shall pass away with high noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be, burned up.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

How much more clearer can the Bible predictions be. The Coronavirus causes nations to go against each other; other countries are blaming China for inflicting this deadly disease upon the rest of the world.

We are still blind that many cannot recognise the word of God given to us through the Bible. He was warning the world what to expect because of our disobedience.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and the moon, and the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

The Bible also warns us that lawlessness shall abound, the love we should have for our fellowman shall grow cold. Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Heed the word of God put your faith, trust and belief in the Almighty and all plague and pestilence shall pass you by because you like the virgins were prepared and put oil in your lamps. Amen.
