False teaching is the number one reason people will abandon their faith in later times.
Christians need to recognise that false teachers distract us from obeying the truth of the gospel, they replace the word of God with their deceptiveness, gain control over the Church so they can spread their negative influences.
False teachers cause confusion and discouragement and spread false rumours about spiritual rulers. Here in the book of Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Do not be blinded by the adversary; false teachings is a real threat to us including the Church they have allowed themselves to endorse a way of life that is an abomination in the eyes of God.
We must recognise false teachers before it is too late and understand the instructions in the book of 2 Timothy 3:9, But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their’s also was.
People, we are not immune from false teaching, and if we allow ourselves to believe we cannot be, deceived we do so at our peril we are warned in 1 Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he falls.
Let us put on the armour of God gear up so that when the false prophets emerge, we can defeat them with the word of the Almighty. Demonstrate to them that they cannot pull wools over our eyes, we know them from the words out of their mouth.
