Satan was not giving the name Lucifer the Son of the morning for no reason. God knew that he was a brilliant and capable angel.

It stands to reason that if the Devil can decide to go up against the Almighty God who created him, knowing the consequences that his action was going to cost him. Doubt not that he has no compunction in deceiving us and creating havoc against God’s people.

The vast majority of people buy into the misconception that the Devil is a horned repulsive thing to look at, but nothing can be further from the truth. Ezekiel 28:15 Said that the Devil was perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was, found in thee.

Somehow the world is not aware of the fact that they are under the sway of the Devil the wicked one. 1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God and the whole world lieth in wickedness. Satan uses our inherent pride to occupy them with themselves and their greatness, and this has affected every aspect of humanity.

His goal is for humanity to be so sure of their human abilities that it precludes all need for God. Satan’s nature hasn’t changed. He still wants to be higher than God, and he aims to bring everything and everyone under his sway. So He still whispers his lies into every ear, sowing pride and doubt, just as he did while he was in heaven.

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. We need to understand that God’s plan to provide full proof of the deceitfulness of sin. He has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that Satan’s way will only lead to death and destruction.

We need to show the Devil that he is ways are destructive and we will continue to cling to the armour of God and will continuously repel His evil ways knowing that his reign is short and the Kingdom of God is near and awaits His soldiers.
