Mighty God, I thank you for accepting me in your presence today. I glorify your exceptional name in the knowledge that you alone can calm our minds and heal our bodies.
I am before you because I am feeling lost, troubled, confused and hopeless. I am asking for your Divine guidance in my life this moment. How can I shake off the shackles that are causing me to feel the way that I do? I realise that the only way is by putting it into your hands.
Heavenly Father, I desire to be clear-minded in a time when deceit and deception are trying to invade my mind. They are coming from so many quarters, and so I pray that you would teach me how to take these thoughts captive, bind and rebuke them so that they cannot cause such confusion in my mind, or distort the truth of Your word.
You left me these words in the book of Psalm 35:1-4 That You will Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seeks after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devises my hurt.
Mighty God, let me be strong and courageous. Even though I am feeling alone, lost, confused, troubled and hopeless let me not be afraid or terrified because of them, for You are the Lord my God You go with me; and I know that You will never leave nor forsake me.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, it is he that go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Let me thank you for removing the feeling of being alone, lost, confused, troubled and hopelessness from me in the precious name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour. Amen
