Ranking number one tennis player has to be, in my opinion, the second most remarkable day for Andy Murray; I imagine the first being the birth of his daughter.
Anyone who has watched Andy’s career knows he thoroughly deserves this spot and his currently ranking is a testament of the calibre of not just the man, but how great a tennis player he his.
In my opinion, even when he loses a match, the grace and dignity he displayed are remarkable. Â I was never a tennis fan until I watched Andy Murray played.
According to the media report, there have only been 26 men that have held the number one ranking, and some states that being number one can be a rather awkward position because of the pressure that it puts on a player. Â But, I believe that everyone who played the game at the level that Andy Murray and other professionals player does, they aspire to be number one.
I think that Andy Murray will cope effectively, with his number one tennis ranking, he his a rather humble man and that I believe set him apart. Â He will handle the number position with humility, focus, integrity and most of all with dignity.
The UK and its people are very proud of Andy Murray achievements; I do not believe anyone in the country every believes the Britain would ever have a number one ranking tennis player.  We hope he continues to be the best player in the world, for a very long time.
