Christians are not Exempt from Trials and Tribulations

Faith, Mountain, God 9652178

We need to understand that being a Christian doesn’t exempt us from facing fears, trials, tribulations, financial upheaval and anxieties. A disease can strike us, our friends sometimes betray, and bodies fail, life hurts.

However, we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control, and the unshakable promises we have in the word of God.

Therefore, God told us in 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Here in the book of Philippians 4:6 Be careful about nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. By prayer and humbleness, we will receive God favours.

When you are feeling overwhelmed remember the book of Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is made easy, and my burden is light.

We are, confident that everything will be better as here in the book of Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

God will never leave us alone because he promises here in the book of Psalm 107:9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

If ever you feel that the adversary is trying to overwhelm you remember the scripture in Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

God has told us that he’s willing to do everything for us as said here in the book of Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Let us follow the teaching of the book of 2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are, seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are, seen are temporal; but the things which are, not seen are eternal.

We have nothing to fear in this life because of the amazing and great Father that we have and His need to protect us is children at all time. Remember he gave up his son to die for us so that we may be redeemed. Praise His Holy Name. Amen
