Mighty God, your children are facing depression and stress because of the heavyweight the adversary place on them. Take them under your wings and remove their suffering and bring peace unto all of us.

Help us to use these scriptures to strengthen our faith and defeat the depression placed upon us. Psalm 9:9 The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 54:3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

Acts 10:38 God gave Jesus of Nazareth the Holy Spirit and power. He went around doing good and healing all who were troubled by the devil because God was with Him.

Ecclesiastes 4:1 Then I saw all the evil powers that were ruling under the sun. I saw the tears of the people who were suffering under these powers, with no one to comfort them. Those who made it hard for them had the power. But the people had no one to comfort them.

Ecclesiastes 5:8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they. Ecclesiastes 7:7 For sure an evil power makes the wise man angry. And to get paid in secret for wrong-doing destroys the heart.

Psalm 55:3 Because of the voice of those who hate me and the power of the sinful. For they bring trouble upon me, and in anger, they keep on having evil thoughts against me. Amen
