There are very few people, in my opinion, that believe that Donal Trump would be an influential president should he win the US elections, in fact, the US would become the laughing stock of the world.

I agree with London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s assessment of Trump’s position in respect of playing into the hands of ISIS, of course, Trump shows a lack of understanding when he called for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States.

The problem the world has with politicians like Donald Trump is that they have no clue or respect for another culture, and their attitude is one of the reasons, in my opinion, that terrorism strives.  A terrorist uses the statements out of Trump’s mouth, such as building a wall to keep Mexican out of the US, banning Muslim from entering the US, and all his bigotry to help recruit vulnerable young people to become suicide bombers.

Politicians have a responsibility to build bridges between different communities, not trample on diversity, and pick on sections of our community to rile us the racist and extremists to gain votes.  Politicians with an old view like that are extremely dangerous, and you cannot give them the opportunity to have any say in how this planet is manage. Otherwise one is asking for possible war around the world.

There is no doubt that, as a civilized society we have to ensure that we deal effectively with terrorism and terrorists, but you do not do so by giving them ammunition that they can use to continue their terror activities.

Organisation like the terror group ISIS would welcome Donald Trump becoming President of the US. It would give them the bargaining chip, in my opinion,  to recruit so much more young people in their so-called fight against Western society, and it will become them against us.

One aspect of terrorism that many people fail to recognise is the fact that it is innocent people that suffers a terrorist attack.  How many times in the past have a terrorist unleash their evil and politicians suffer the loss of family members.  The vast majority of terror attacks are either on the military or ordinary innocent civilian.
