God Gave You Free Will, Use It Wisely

One of the fundamental things that God gave to human beings is free will. The ability to make our own choices.

We continuously make ineffective and counter-productive choices in our lives and then we blame God for all the ails and affliction that comes our way. You need to stop and think. If I consult God before I make a choice, He will give me the answer and assist me in making sure that the decision made will enhance my life.

Satan knows very well that God gave us free will, and he tested that when he tries to make Job turned against the Creator. He failed because Job knew that he had free will to choose, but he trusts his life and that of his family to God.

Although God gave us free will He also told us that he would protect us against the Devil. The book of 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

God gave you the ability to make choices but, he made sure that if you make the wrong choice he is there for you. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. With the free will, you are, given a message, as stated in Galatians 5:13.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Mighty God, I thank you for giving me free will the ability to make my choice. I will always choose to serve you because you are the living God, and there is no one more worthy to praise than you. Hear and answer my prayers, keep the adversary out of my way and strengthen me to repel him whenever he raises his ugly head, in Jesus name Amen.
