Apart from God been our Creator he’s also our Father, Friend, Redeemer, Confidant, Saviour and someone that you can lean on and trust.
The Eternal Father, will never lie, deceive, tempt us to sin, give us more than we are capable of bearing or putting us in any danger. Those are things that the Devil does. God loves us, but he expects us to follow certain conditions and when we choose the ways of Satan it breaks his heart knowing that he has to destroy us because we decided to take damnation over eternal life.
God Told us in Exodus 20:5 – Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. We are, warned here that following the ways of the Devil comes at a significant cost and God will not hesitate to destroy those who do.
He also told us in the book of Exodus 34:14 – For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. Deuteronomy 4:24 – For the Lord, thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
Deuteronomy 6:15 – (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
Satan’s punishment as revealed in the book of Deuteronomy 29:20 – The Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are, written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven.
