According to a media report heroin worth, £7,000 was found stashed in the bottom of a dealer. Apparently, the man arrested on charges unrelating to the drugs, but police believe he may have drugs on his person.
Following their suspicion, the man was taken to the hospital to be x-rayed, while waiting in the queue, he soiled himself. Hence the finding of the heroin.
I cannot understand the logic behind these individuals putting their life at risk just so that they can carry drugs into the country. There has to be something significantly wrong with these people.
Too many people have already lost their lives believing they can use their bodies as a conveyor belt for drug smuggling. Therefore, there is not enough money in the world that would convince me to do something so stupid.
Police service all over the world are smarter, better prepared, technological savvy and the criminal elements in our society need to recognise that fact. What they could get away with twenty years ago is now virtually impossible to achieve. Of course, they will continue to buck the system but what a price to pay simple to acquire money.
It makes me nauseated to think that someone, especially a 19-year-old, could carry drugs that they are supposedly going to sell to others in their bottom, irrespective that it may be, contained in a plastic wrapper, it is just nasty.
