How You Cope What You Do When Your Faith Is Severely Shaken? From time to time, our faith in this world is severely shaken, and we find ourselves questioning the validity of our faith.

Over the past few months, several Black men and women have been killed by US police, and we see the injustices around the world that causes, human being to act so cruelly against each other. We look at the murder of the civilians in Myanmar, the Chinese Uighurs oppression, Russia’s oppression, and the kidnapping of children in Nigeria for ransom. You wondered why this evil continues and when we expect these vile and inhumane actions to end.

Unfortunately, we sometimes forgot God’s teaching and allowed the Devil to test our faith to breaking point. To restore our shaken faith because of what is happening in the world, we need to turn to our Bible, the word of God, to replenish our mind and let his teaching guide us back from the brink.

According to one writer, when your faith is shaken, there are several things that you must do. Put your trust in God. Pray about it. Work on changing your situation. Surround yourself with Godly people. Remember your testimonies. Relate to people who have had similar situations. Seek spiritual guidance. Have Quality Time Alone with God.

What does the Bible tell us about the shaken faith? Psalm 16:8 I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Psalm 16:8-11 I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand, there are pleasures forevermore.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it and is safe.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son, is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Hebrews 11:17-18 By faith, Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son. Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

The evil that exists in the world is not for us to bear. We can be empathetic, feel sorrow, want to help in any way we can, but we should never lose our faith in the living God. God will eventually wipe away all tears from our eyes; he will bind the Devil, so he can never lie and use God people for evil. Although it seems that it is continuing without any end in sight, we need to trust that God knows exactly what he is doing.
