The Devil Knows God, and he is aware of the awesome power of our creator. Satan recognises that if he was going to go up against the Almighty, he needed to be able to convince not just angels but people to rebel against God.
He convinced many Angels, and they were cast down with him, and now he is using those fallen angels to do his dirty work. But God cursed him in Ezekiel 28:18 KJV, Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
Satan realises that God was going to leave instructions on how we can defeat him and he knows the Bible is the words of God. So, he is working hard to destroy God’s word so that we have nothing to turn to for reference. The book of 1 Corinthians 7:5 KJV, Defraud ye not one the other, except it, be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempts you not for your incontinency.
God gave us a powerful warning that we need to come together in prayer and fasting so when the Devil tries to tempt us he will be unsuccessful. The Bible is our weapon against Satan because it is the word of the almighty God and the Devil knows that.
The Devil has no problems dragging millions of us into the pit of fire, and in fact, he is banking on it so he can say to God look how much of your people I was able to persuade to, disrespect you, so do not allow him to do so.
