Pride was one of the reasons that God threw Satan out of Heaven and into damnation. Will you allow pride to destroy your life too.
Lucifer The Son of The Morning was his title, he had beauty, wisdom and might all the right things created in him by God and it led him to pride. His pride led to his rebellion and fall, but he never lost any of his power and traits. The Devil is leading a worldwide revolt against his Creator to see who will be God. His strategy is to enlist humankind to join him by tempting them to succumb to the same choice that he made to love themselves, above God.
But God already tell him that he will not be successful as he said here in Ezekiel 28:17 KJV, Thine heart was, lifted because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom because of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. God is going to strip the Devil of his power and let us see him for the pure evil that he becomes.
There is no doubt that the Almighty did hold Satan in high esteem Luke 10:18 KJV, And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. But because of his pride, he betrayed someone who created and cared for him which was the ultimate in betrayal.
God told him here in the book of Isaiah 14:12 KJV, How art thou has fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weakens the nations. Every one of us that follow the path of the Devil is betraying God over and over. We must work hard, pray continuously for God to give us the strength to forsake the Devil and is evil ways.
